Industrial drive chains on drawing

In our organization we have always been engaged in building for well-known companies industrial chains on design in close contact with designers and technical offices. It is a business to which we attach great importance because it meets the needs and expectations of customers. Although commercial, the transmission or transport chains often require customisation with special attachments and series of chains of the same length. An attentive analysis of drawings and specifications required by specification is fundamental to consider tolerances, yield, shot, operating load, elongation.

Standardization is probably one of the most important aspects. That’s why, after the assembly or coupling of a series of chains we give special importance to what we call parallel coupling with equipment specially built by us.

MEASUREMENT, PRELOADING, AND PARALLEL COUPLING for any length

The procedures are essential to ensure the reliability and efficiency of the transmission system to which the chains are dedicated. Specifically:

• Verify compliance with design specifications
• Reduce initial elongation during the break-in period by maintaining optimal tension
• Distribute the load evenly across multiple points of the transmission to reduce stress and wear
• Synchronise the transmission in certain complex applications
• Ensure greater operational safety, especially in specific packaging applications

Transmission and transport chains are considered mechanical components and, as such, must be manufactured according to standardised norms and measurements. In the case of special lengths for chains coupled in parallel, we must ensure that the dimensions are identical and have the same tension.
